The first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year is almost over. The lesson on the discipline «Regulation of the use of food additives in various technologies and the harmonization of European regulations in Ukraine on the path of European integration» is coming to an end. Associate professors of the Department of Bakery and Confectionery Goods Technologies Olena Bilyk and Anna Hryshchenko proposed for applicants a format for conducting laboratory work, providing for the improvement of independent work. Applicants were asked to prepare presentations, make reports.
During the classes, they examined the properties and conditions of use of various food additives, the permissible levels of their dosage. To consolidate the material, applicants must draw up protocols at home and submit them to the distance learning website. During the lectures, more attention was focused on the legislation regulating the use of food additives in the food industry, granting permission for their use, and permissible norms of use. Applicants learned materials about the specifics of regulating the use of food additives in the European Union and the problems of harmonizing European regulations in Ukraine. The discipline was taught within the framework of Jean Monnet's project module No. 620521-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE with the support of the Erasmus + program of the European Commission.
Despite the fact that the classes were conducted online, all the material was reviewed during the classes. We wish the applicants to pass the exam successfully!
